Some of the most common and powerful functions for Excel users are “logical functions”. These are preset formulas that allow you to test cells for various conditions and return text or values depending on their adherence to criteria that you define. In the webinar, we will demonstrate how to use logical functions in Excel, and we will cover topics such as:

The IF function for testing whether a cell meets your criteria. This is the most commonly used logical function. Frequently used to calculate commissions or bonuses based on meeting a quota.

The AND function is another commonly used Logical function that requires all conditions to be met in order to return a value of “true”.

The ”OR” function requires all criteria to be met in order to return a value of “true”.

In order to use the IF function to test multiple conditions, we can “nest” functions inside other functions.
