Using Excel as a Database Webinar

If you have been using Excel for some time, you have probably come across situations in which you would like to pull out information from a large data set. You may want to find out how many items in your inventory cost over $100, or how many customers ordered more than 5 units.

In this webinar, we will learn how to use Excel’s database features and functions to allow you to analyze your data efficiently. The following capabilities will be explained and demonstrated in Excel 2013:

– Sort information alphabetically, numerically, or by date
– Filter information from one or more categories
– Create an attractive table from your data set with 2 or 3 mouse clicks
– Use Database Functions such as DSum, DAvg, DCount to pull out needed information without altering the datarange.
