Some of the most common and powerful functions for Excel users are “logical functions”. These are preset formulas that allow you to test cells for various conditions and return text or values depending on their adherence to criteria that you define. In the webinar, we will demonstrate how to use logical functions in Excel, and will cover:
- The IF function for testing whether a cell meets your criteria is the most commonly used logical function – a common use of this function is to calculate commissions or bonuses based on meeting a quota.
- The AND function is another commonly used function that requires all conditions to be met in order to return a value of “true”.
- In order to use the IF function to test multiple conditions, we can “nest” functions inside other functions.
